IgG Purity/Size Heterogeneity Assay Kit from Applied BioAnalytics, featuring two labeled reagent vials: SDS-CAGE Gel Buffer (100 mL) and SDS-CAGE Sample Buffer (50 mL), placed alongside the product box. The kit is designed for analyzing size variants in IgG using SDS-CAGE electrophoresis.

Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate Capillary Gel Electrophoresis(CE-SDS) has long been used for the analysis of mAbs, fusion proteins, their variants and new modalities. However, a baseline disturbance is commonly observed that often requires manual peak integration – not something neither you nor the regulatory look forward to. In order to simply eliminate this whole issue, we at Applied BioAnalytics (AB) have introduced SDS Capillary Agarose Gel Electrophoresis (SDS CAGE) as a novel approach for ultrafast separation of therapeutic proteins. In addition to a beautiful baseline, this gel also allows CE-SDS-MS, an AB exclusive!

SDS-CAGE analysis of an anti-Covid-19 monoclonal antibody. Both reduced and intact forms of the therapeutic protein were analyzed using a 0.8% agarose-TBE gel composition. The inset highlights a zoomed-in section of the baseline-separated ngHC and HC peaks from parallel runs, with the intact form migrating within 6 minutes, followed by stable baselines without any disturbances.

BASELINE-SEPARATED PEAKS OF A REDUCED, ANTI-COVID-19 MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY SAMPLE ALONGSIDE THE CO-INJECTED INTACT FORM, WITH A STABLE, HUMP-FREE BASELINE MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE ANALYSIS.
